BIMA 

BIMA implemented the use of mobile devices in securing health insurance and this proved to be a game-changer as it widens its customer base. Anyone with a mobile phone can register for BIMA’s services through a USSD code, thus lowering the barriers to access to medical insurance. Additionally, registration can be done through the SMS facility or with a phone call.

Premiums for the service are as low as 1$/ month and these can be paid through mobile money payment systems.
